Bulma Flashes Roshi

In Dragon Ball Manga chapter 4, we have Goku and Bulma on the beach where they met Master Roshi after returning Turtle to the sea. As a reward for that, he gave Goku the Flying Nimbus. But Bulma asked if she could have one, too.

Roshi asked Turtle if she helped, too. But Turtle said not a bit, much to her frustration as she said she gave him salt water. Regardless, Roshi said he had only one Nimbus. So he decided to make her a deal.

He said he'd give her something else if she would show him her panties first. She immediately blushed to that and pointed at her lower body as she stuttered repeating that back, to which he nodded yes. Turtle scolded him for that, but it didn't stop him as he just it wasn't a big deal.

Bulma with a blush and fake smile agreed as long as that was all he wanted. So she quickly lifted up her nightgown to show him. But the thing she failed to realize was Goku had taken off her panties when she was asleep. So when she did the dress lift, we get a full view of her bare naked butt. While Roshi and Turtle get a full view of her special area as she spreads her legs showing it. Much to Roshi's excitement as he had a nose bleed seeing it.

She then quickly dropped it, turned away, and held her face she blushed talking about how embarrassing that was. Not having the slightest clue that she just showed a lot more than promised. Not that Roshi complained as he felt amazing for seeing that.

After that she asked for the 3 Star Ball hanging around his neck. But when he saw how excited she and Goku were to find it he started to think it was very valuable. So he told them he never said he'd give it to them and thought he could sell it instead.

But then while asking why not, Bulma quickly lifts up her nightgown again. Only this time she lifted it up to just under her breasts. She didn't even blush this time, but Roshi had a nose bleed again before saying yes.

Bulma was very excited to get another Dragon Ball while not even knowing what she showed. All while thought he should've brought a camera. But he was still happy for what he saw and thought he was going to live a long life. Bulma wasn't as fortunate as when she got back to the house, she learned her panties weren't on. Realizing what she showed Roshi back on beach, she felt more embarrassed than she ever has in her life.

Half a year later, this chapter was adapted into an anime episode. The events that played were pretty much the same. Naturally we had some extra moments put in for us to see. Like seeing Bulma flash at the front with Roshi's head being used as censorship. But the only things truly different to the plot was Bulma blushing when she did her second lift and she did it up and down more than once.

In this filler episode, we have Goku flashbacking to this moment in a dream. Only it looks different from the original.

In 1996, we have this movie which remakes the scene, but in a very different way. Like in the original, Goku and Bulma go to the beach to take Turtle back and he brings Roshi to see them. But Oolong also joined them before hand and was there with them. Bulma was also wearing a skirted nightgown in this one.

Unlike in the original, Bulma noticed the 3 Star Ball hanging around his neck after Goku started flying with the Nimbus. Goku then told him what it is and does. Bulma then tried to get it from him by seducing him with a cute wink.

Roshi was willing, but he asked her to show him her panties first. He jumped when he asked that and gave him a dirty look for it. But Roshi with a pitiful look and tone stuck by what he said. Oolong who was near by gave a perverted smile as he said "Count me in."

For a moment Bulma looked up a little panicked as she wondered what to do. But then with a blush she looked down in a bit of shame and agreed to do it if it meant she could get a Dragon Ball.

Roshi then gets excited as he shows a look of anticipation. After which we then see Bulma reaching down and grabbing the skirt of her nightgown.

As he gets ready to see her lift it, he holds up the Dragon Ball as if trying to tempt her. We then see Oolong run behind him and stare at Bulma with a perverted look as he gets ready to see her underwear, too.

But despite him seeing not being part of the deal, Bulma doesn't say anything against it. Either because she's too embarrassed to think properly, or because it's just for the plot. Regardless, she spreads her legs and takes stand as she gets ready to flash.

She looks down with both a smile and blush on her face. Then as she opens her smiling mouth wide, she slowly starts to lift her skirt. Then she quickly lifts it up to just below her chest screaming tadah. We are then once again greeted by her bare naked butt, while Roshi, Turtle, and this time Oolong are greeted by her bare naked front.

They stare on in shock at it as they weren't expecting a full view. But Roshi and Oolong were happy to see what they see all the same. Roshi in particular stared on while having a nose bleed.

We then see Bulma staring upwards blushing while still holding it up for them. She then takes a peek at them as they look at her. Following that, she turns her face away, closes her eyes, and says "How embarrassing..." All while not knowing she was bottomless and was still holding it up.

In 2008, this DS game was released and showed many classic Dragon Ball moments remade. Bulma flashing Roshi was one of those moments. During this scene we see her lift her nightgown from the front with the split between the 2 DS screens being the censorship.

Things to take note of:

1 - The fans of Dragon Ball find Bulma's flash scene to be the best fanservice in the series. But Akira Toriyama has stated himself that he finds Bulma's shower to be the best.

2 - The movie version was the only know media where Oolong sees a naked part of Bulma.

3 - Due to the order of characters meeting in the movie being changed, Yamcha was following them prior to this moment. And he was shown spying on them during this scene when he heard about the Dragon Balls. This would mean while it was never established, he was watching when Bulma flashed everyone. He was even at an angle to see her from the front.

4 - The Funimation Dub added an inner monologue for Bulma as she was getting ready to lift her gown in the movie version. In this monologue she stated that she wasn't really bothered by this and was just acting so to add to their excitement for the sake of the Dragon Ball. This change was most likely made to make her look less like a victim, which was pointless given her embarrassment after said reveal.
