"Pokemon Season 1 Ep 63 Subbed/61 Dubbed"

While on their way to Viridian City/Tokiwa City, Misty/Kasumi notices that her Horsea/Tattu is looking depressed. Brock/Takeshi suggests it's due to a lack of excise as Pokemon like Horsea require large area of water to swim in every now and then. Realizing this, she contacts her sisters back in Cerulean/Hanada City. She tells them she's coming home so Horsea can use the Gym pool.

When they arrive, Pikachu notices a poster saying the Gym's doing an underwater ballet. It also mentions the return of a famous underwater ballerina. When they go inside, Misty is immediately greeted by her sisters who were impatiently waiting for her. As it turns out, the supposedly famous ballerina was her.

It turns out the water aerobics they've been doing had gotten stale and boring to the public. So they decided to do a ballet show to get they're audience back. And since Misty called them around the same time, they saw it as a sign that she should be the Mermaid princess.

She was against doing it, especially since they decided this without asking her. But after hearing that the show was tomorrow and hearing them plea for her to do it, she reluctantly agreed to it. Only to mocked by them falling for their fake tears, which of course annoyed her.

Later the Gym has a full housed audience. And we see Misty getting nervous. But she's determined to pull this off. So as the stage is set, the narrator introduces her as the Mermaid princess. Then the spot light shines on her and we get a full view of her in her Mermaid costume.

For this she let her hair down while wearing pearls on her head. Other accessories include her red earrings and silver necklace. As for the outfit itself, she had on a shoulderless pink seashell bikini top and wore an aqua coloured Mermaid tail with a yellow star on the left hip.

As the audience applause her, she dives into the pool and the began. We see her preforming with all the Water Pokemon. As well as see her fight Team Rocket/Rocket Gang who invaded the show. And the whole time, we see her in her Mermaid costume.

Things to take note of:

1 - Misty's Mermaid costume is referenced in the Dengeki Pikachu/Electric Tale! Pikachu Manga. Although it was only a picture and was different.

2 - We see Misty in the Mermaid costume again in episodes 6 and 16 of Pokemon Chronicles.

3 - In episode 16 of Pokemon Chronicles, we also see her sister Violet/Ayame wear the same costume for the show when Misty decided not to preform.
